A company needed strategic and tactical advise on how to penetrate the National Security market…
 
Client Need:
A foreign owned, software company wished to expand its market and win classified contracts. However corporations that are owned, controlled, or influenced by a foreign person are potential for undue risk to the common defense and national security and are curtailed from doing business with the intelligence community and affiliated agencies such as the U.S. Department of Homeland Security and Department of Energy.

 
Approach:
The MITA Group worked with this company to address all Foreign Ownership, Control and Influence (FOCI) issues. We helped build a U.S.-based company and recruited a proxy board of “cleared” members.  Firewalls to the parent company were implemented and appropriate safeguards were installed. MITA then identified and employed U.S. owned partners to deliver and maintain the software.

 
Outcome:
The company has launched the new U.S. entity and is legally entitled to penetrate and execute classified U.S. Government work. The MITA Group is now engaged as their outsourced federal sales team.
