Frank R. Anderson
Mr. Anderson, a Partner at the MITA Group, has provided information and assistance on global political affairs and global business trends to international corporations and foreign governments for over a decade. This follows a 27 year career in the Central Intelligence Agency where he served as Chief of the Near East and South Asia Division, Director of Technical Services and Chief of the Afghan Task Force. Mr. Anderson is proficient in Arabic and French. He has a current TOP SECRET/SCI security clearance. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Illinois in Chicago, a Diploma from the U.S. Foreign Service Institute’s Arab Language and Middle East Area Studies School in Beirut, Lebanon, and a Certificate from Harvard University’s John F. Kennedy School of Government Program for Senior Executives in National and International Security.
Eric Malawer
Eric Malawer has nearly a decade of experience in the National Security community. Most recently serving as a Senior Policy Adviser on Intelligence to the US House of Representatives Committee on Homeland Security, he spent the majority of his career overseas with the Department of Defense and Department of State. He was previously a consultant to the Office of the Director of Central Intelligence, the Office of the Secretary of Defense and the Office of Corporate Strategic Planning and Performance at the National Security Agency. Mr. Malawer received his BA from Georgetown University and MS from the London School of Economics.
Ross Newland
Ross Newland has been providing strategic consulting services to U.S. and foreign companies since he retired from a 26-year career at the Central Intelligence Agency in January 2006. Mr. Newland had a distinguished career in the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), serving in numerous important positions overseas and at the agency’s Headquarters in Langley, Virginia. Until late 2005, Mr. Newland was the Chief of the Operational Technology Office, which decided which technology the agency would adapt to its operations overseas. He was the Deputy Director of the Office of Technical Services (OTS), charged with developing and deploying technical operations around the globe. During the first year after 9/11, Mr. Newland was the Deputy Associate Director for Central Intelligence (ADCI) for Military Support, coordinating the agency’s operational efforts with the military during the Afghan War. Mr. Newland was a member of the Senior Executive Service through six overseas tours, three of them as Chief of Station. He was awarded the CIA’s Distinguished Career Intelligence Medal, the Intelligence Medal of Merit (1990), and the State Department’s Medal of Valor (1990), in addition to numerous meritorious achievement awards and unit citations. He graduated from Trinity College in Hartford, CT with a degree in History, and obtained a Masters Degree at the London School of Economics..
