Martin F. Fredrickson
Mr. Fredrickson is a veteran of over 20 years in technology sales, where his focus has been on team building, sales execution, and partner strategies that help bring venture backed companies into the mainstream markets. Mr. Fredrickson has spent his career developing sales and channel strategies for emerging companies, where his efforts have successfully contributed to successful IPO's and subsequent acquisitions by industry leading companies. His track record includes executive leadership roles with Sun Microsystem, where he led the Global Identity Management Practice from $18M to over $135M in revenues in just 18 months, Waveset (startup company acquired by Sun in 2003), SeeBeyond (successful IPO in 2000 and then acquired by Sun), and IBM/Tivoli (grew government revenues from startup to almost $200M, participated in a successful IPO, and acquisition by IBM). This former member of the United States Air Force also serves as an advisor to several emerging technology companies through his work in the venture community.
John Malone
John Malone has served in a number of leadership roles with a strong emphasis on driving rapid organizational growth. Mr. Malone has achieved high levels of success in a broad range of organizations which vary from a Fortune 100 company, to a mid cap to the founding of a brand new start up. Most recently Mr. Malone was the Senior Vice President of Sales and Business Development for NeuStar from 1/2003 to 4/2007. Mr. Malone was accountable for the revenue side of Neustar’s business both as a private company and then as a NYSE company. NeuStar’s revenue grew from $80+M in 2002 to in excess of $420+M in 2007 under Mr. Malone’s leadership. NeuStar’s IPO in 6/2005 was the #1 ranked IPO in 2005 resulting in significant value creation for all NeuStar stakeholders. Prior to NeuStar, Mr. Malone was the CEO and cofounder of BizTelOne which was started in 2/2001. He successfully sold BizTelOne to NeuStar in 1/2003 providing a return in excess of 2X to his initial investors in less than 11 months during a very challenging time in the telecom marketplace. Prior to founding BizTelOne Mr. Malone was the President of the Commercial Systems Group at Universal Systems Inc. ( USI later changed name to Integic and then was acquired by Northrup Grumman) from 1996 to 2000. Mr. Malone began his career with IBM in 1983 as a Systems Engineer and then switched into a Sales role in 1985 while exceeding his quota every year until he left IBM in 1988 to pursue an MBA. Mr. Malone has a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Virginia Tech and an MBA from the Harvard Business School.
Ron Ross
Mr. Ross has a distinguished public and private sector career of over 35 years of service in the federal government. Following a 20 year assignment with the National Security Agency he joined Computer Sciences Corporation where he created their Intelligence Community Business Organization, was Vice President of their Intelligence and DOD marketing organization, and also served as President of their Intelligence and DOD services business unit. Mr. Ross joined CACI International as President and COO growing annual revenues from $320M to $500M in revenue. Ron moved to Compaq Federal where he served as Vice President of their Federal Organization growing their Federal business by 70% in two years. Most recently, Mr. Ross was Vice President of Raytheon Information Solutions responsible for organically leading and growing Raytheon’s business in the federal IT market. He remains active in many federal associations and serves as a Board member for the Armed Forces Communication and Electronics Association International (AFCEA) and the Army sponsored National Science Center. He is a graduate of The University of Maryland and holds a BS in Management Sciences.
Scott Suhy
Scott Suhy has over 20 years of experience building organizations, leading people, focusing on high customer satisfaction, driving revenue, increasing market share and selling and delivering high quality services. Scott has a great balance of deep technical skills, as well as, broad leadership and business experience. Most recently Scott was the General Manager of Microsoft’s Public Sector Business Development organization where he led multiple teams responsible for complex Health and Human Services, Homeland Security, Defense and Education opportunities. Scott was also responsible for leading Microsoft’s Dynamics (ERP/CRM/Supply Chain) sales team as well as the organizations channel team. In this role Scott was responsible for starting up 20+ businesses of 50+ million/each in net new revenue for Microsoft. An example of one such business can be found at http://sisaalliance.com. Scott was with Microsoft since Feb 92. For the last 5 years Scott and his family have resided in Washington DC. Scott’s previous roles have included five years as the General Manager for the Mid-America sales district where he managed a 300 million dollar sales, marketing and consulting organization across the states of Missouri, Kansas and Tennessee.
Khaled Saffuri
Khaled Saffuri is an Advisory Partner with the MITA Group. With a unique combination of working experience in the United States and across the Middle Eastern region, Mr. Saffuri provides international business and government clients with unparalleled strategic and public affairs consulting services. He founded and ran one of the United States’ largest and most active public policy institutes focused on issues of importance to countries of the Middle East and Muslim-Americans. In addition, Mr. Saffuri was Executive Director at the Islamic Free Market Institute, an organization that promotes democracy and free markets and facilitates understanding between the Muslim community in America and policy leaders across the globe. In all these capacities, Mr. Saffuri has focused his work on leading programs that foster better understanding and appreciation of Middle Eastern issues and governments through education and advocacy.
Ben Turner
Ben Turner is a senior IT executive with strong marketing and management experience including operating businesses, developing and implementing marketing strategies, business and market development, and product management. Over his 15 years in the telecommunications and technology sectors, Mr. Turner has earned a reputation as an innovator skilled at building new operations throughout the business life cycle. Most recently, Mr. Turner was the business unit manager for VeriSign’s Naming business. Prior to VeriSign, Mr. Turner served in senior management positions at Network Solutions where he was responsible for marketing, product development and business development.
